Account and data deletion
How to delete your qawqaw account and the records stored with it. Uninstalling the app does not delete anything from the server.
1. In the app (recommended)
- Open the app and press “Menu” at the top of the screen.
- Go to “My data”.
- Press “Delete everything” and confirm once more when asked.
Do this before uninstalling. Uninstalling first removes this route.
2. Without the app (web)
If you already uninstalled the app or changed devices, sign in at www.qawqaw.com with the same Google account and follow the same path as above (Menu → My data → Delete everything).
3. By email
If neither route is available, write to the address below from the email address of the Google account you signed up with. To verify identity, only mail sent from that address is processed.

4. What gets deleted
Deleted — immediately, and it cannot be undone.
- Items (name, short label, category, schedule, notes)
- Records (time, amount, notes)
- Reminder times and their links to items
- Settings stored on the server
- The account itself (Google account identifier, email address, profile name)
- The same content left on your device
⚠️ Export before you delete.
Menu → My data → Export records (JSON or CSV). Nothing can be recovered afterwards.
What remains
- Purchase records — purchases are held by the app store and this service cannot delete them. Refunds and billing history follow the policy of the store you bought from.
- Records we are legally required to retain, kept only for that period.
5. How long it takes
- Deleting from the app or the web — immediate.
- Email request — processed within 30 days of acknowledgement.
