Privacy Policy
qawqaw (the “Service”) is a tool for recording what you take and what you do. This document states what information the Service handles, where it is kept, and who receives it.
1. Information collected
What you enter
- Items — name, short label, category, schedule, notes
- Entries — date and time, amount, notes
- Time slots, notification settings, display settings (theme, text size, language)
⚠️ What you enter may include health-related information.
You decide entirely what to record.
Account information (only if you connect an account)
- Google account identifier, email address, profile name
- No password is collected. Google handles authentication; the Service never sees your password.
Diagnostic records
- Error and behavior records are stored on your device only and are never transmitted automatically.
- They leave the device only when you run Menu → My data → ‘Export diagnostics’ yourself. That file does not contain item names, short labels, or notes.
2. Where data is stored
- Your device — browser or app storage. The Service works without an account, and in that case your entries never leave the device.
- Server — if you connect an account, entries are also stored in a cloud database (Supabase) so they survive a device change. The database is protected by row-level access control; only your account can read or write your rows.
3. Purpose
- Keeping and reviewing your entries
- Synchronizing across your devices
- Statistics — computed on your device.
- Notifications — the decision to notify and the message text are produced on your device; notification content is not sent to the server.
4. Third parties
The Service currently uses no advertising, analytics, or payment tools. The following are used to operate it:
- Google — sign-in authentication
- Supabase — database and authentication
⚠️ If advertising, analytics, or payments are introduced,
this document will be updated first and you will be notified in the app.
Even then, item names, short labels, categories, notes, and entry contents are never
provided for advertising or analytics purposes.
5. Retention
- Data is kept until you delete it.
- A deleted item can be restored for 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted.
- Disconnecting or deleting your account deletes the server-side data. Data left on the device can be removed by uninstalling the app or deleting it under Menu → My data.
6. Your rights
Available directly in the app, under Menu → My data.
- View, edit, delete — on each screen
- Export — JSON (everything) or CSV (records)
- Delete everything — erases records on the server and on the device. This cannot be undone.
- Unlink account — clears this device only. Not the same as deletion.

7. Not medical advice
⚠️ The Service is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide
diagnosis, prescription, or medication guidance. Consult a healthcare professional
about whether, how much, or when to take anything.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above is updated and you are notified in the app.
